Melton Swimmers shine in Winter League

The performances were outstanding with PBs for M. Willetts, A Bridgeman, L. Clark, S. Firth, C. Byron, A. Hunt, M. Merritt, Z. Bates, E. Keen, B. England, O. Mayne, F. Hoggard, T. Vandoros, J. Beech and D. Bridgeman.
In the medley relay events, MMSC dominated the field with five wins and one second place out of the eight events. A nail-biting second place by the narrowest of margins in the cannon relay rounded off an exceptional evening for the swimmers seeing them take joint first place with Market Harborough.
The result meant that MMSC came a fantastic 10th in the overall league, against 28 teams from Leicestershire.
