Melton Mowbray Swimming Club is a competitive club with a reputation for friendliness. We coach our swimmers on technique; speed and stamina, with the expectation that our swimmers compete in internal club galas and league galas. We operate both Senior and Diddy A and B teams, competing in the Arena League, Leicester League and Reliant League.
Swimmers who achieve County times are encouraged to enter the Leicestershire Amateur Swimming Association meets. For our very top swimmers, achieving Midlands or national entry times, there is the opportunity to compete against some of the best in the country at Midland Regional Galas or national meets.
It is our aim to help our swimmers achieve their maximum potential and to support those who want to go on to compete at the top level, whilst at the same time ensuring that all levels of swimmers enjoy their time with us.
The
coaches and staff at the club are always willing to discuss anything that you
are unsure of. By working with them,
swimmers will get the most out of their time with us, becoming proficient in
all strokes as well as learning in a safe and friendly family environment.
As an amateur club Melton Mowbray Swimming Club relies on its volunteers to help provide the opportunities for success for our swimmers and therefore it is imperative that all parents support the club. This may be as an official, coach, steward, poolside helper or one of the many roles behind the scenes. In all cases we ask that you ensure that swimmers train and compete regularly.

MARS IN THE COMMUNITY
I visited Melton Mowbray Swimming Club tonight (Monday) to donate a cheque for £875 to buy the swimmers hand paddles for training on behalf of MARS In the Community.
Very impressed with the commitment shown by the club, training late in the evenings and early mornings. I can see why they have been so successful over the years.
Attached is a picture of myself handing over the cheque to Alison Boland (chair) with team members in the background.
Have a good Christmas and a Happy New Year to all at Melton Swimming Club.
RegardsDavid Postle
