What are your Hobbies and interests
Mmmmmmm..........swimming..........swimming..........swimming..........swimming....oh and a bit more swimming. If i'm feeling energetic after a week of training (which is very unlikely) a spot of mountain biking is good fun
What are your future plans?
To survive another year of training with all limbs in the correct place and functioning properly, although at my age this might be a bit optimistic
Have you any pets...if so what?
Unfortunately i haven't unless I count the spiders I'm growing in the corner of my bathroom

What is your favourite holiday destination?
I'm such a dedicated swimmer I never go on holiday. Honestly..really really soooooooo dedicated.
What are your Midland/National/International Achievements?
If any one is really interested have a look at the rankings on the Masters section of the British Swimming Website, but don't get too carried away.I only ever swim Breaststroke. I have been ranked Nos 1 in Britain in my age group, but this yearI'm justgoing downhil
What records do you hold?
A few in the Oldies catergory 25+
What are your aims/goals/ambitions in swimming?
To keep going as long as I can. I've watched an 80year old get a British Record. If I can do that when I'm 80 I will be very happy
What have been your best moments in swimming to - date?
The first time I swam in Masters Nationals. I did a PB and got Gold.......it's been all downhill since then
Who do you admire?
Willy Van Reisel. The 80 year old Masters Swimmer
What do you most enjoy about swimming?
Oh sorry I didn't know I was supposed to enjoy this swimming lark....must try harder to smile whilst swimming
What advice can you give to anyone wanting to achieve their personnel goals?
Set them to start with and keep trying.You never know how long it will take you to get thereand if i'm anything to go by you might be old and grey, but any achievement is worth celebrating

Continue to train hard and listen to the advice of the coaches they do know what their doing, but mostly enjoy your time at the club
